By using sateekbharat.in (the "website"), you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. The website is run by Sateek Bharat, referred to in these terms as "we" or "us".
Ownership of content
The news, articles, photographs, videos and graphics on the website, the name and logo "सटीक Bharat.in", and the website's design are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957. They belong to Sateek Bharat or to the relevant rights holders, such as news agencies and photographers.

You may:

- share links to our stories on social media or messaging apps;
- quote short extracts, with credit to Sateek Bharat and a link, for review, criticism or news reporting, to the extent that fair dealing under section 52 of the Copyright Act, 1957 allows.
Without our written permission, you may not:
- republish a whole story, photograph or video on another website, app, channel or publication;

Using the website properly
You must not use the website for anything unlawful, or try to break its security, get into the newsroom system without permission, or disrupt how it normally works.
Material you send us
When you send us a news tip, photograph, video, article or letter, you confirm that it is your own or that you have the right to send it. You allow us to use and edit it for publication. Whether we publish it is decided by our editorial standards, and if it is published, we will credit you if you wish. Unsolicited material is not returned.
Comment rules
To comment under our stories you must sign in with Google and be 18 or older. Your comment is shown publicly with the name on your Google account, and you are responsible for it. Readers' comments are their own views, not those of Sateek Bharat.
You must not post a comment that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to, or infringes any copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary right;
- is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, invades someone's privacy (including bodily privacy), or insults or harasses anyone on the basis of gender;
- is racially or ethnically objectionable, or promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste with intent to incite violence;
- relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes an online game that is not a permissible online game, such as an online money game;
- is harmful to children;
- misleads people about where a message came from, knowingly spreads false or misleading information, or impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order; incites any cognisable offence; prevents the investigation of any offence; or insults another nation;
- contains a virus or any other code meant to disrupt, damage or limit a computer resource;
- defames anyone, shares someone's phone number, address or other private details, or is spam or advertising;
- breaks any law in force.
Bad language: comments containing some common swear words are not removed automatically. They are shown blurred, and readers can open them only after seeing a warning. Abusing or insulting anyone still breaks these rules, and such comments may be removed.
Reports: every comment and reply has a Report option in its ⋯ menu. A comment is hidden at once and reviewed by our team when three different readers report it, or when even one reader reports it for containing private or obscene content about someone. Comments that break these rules are removed.
If you break these rules (IT Rules, 2021, rule 3(1)(c)):
- we may remove your comment or disable access to it immediately, and suspend your account for some days or close it permanently, which stops you commenting, replying, and reacting to or reporting comments;
- if your comment breaks the law, you may be liable to penalty or punishment under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and any other applicable law;
- if it involves an offence that the law requires to be reported, such as under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 read with the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, or the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, we will report it to the appropriate authority.
We may also close comments on a story, or pause new comments on the whole website for a while. Where the law requires, information may be shared with investigating agencies.
You can also complain about a comment in the way explained on our Grievance Redressal page.

The website may contain links to other websites, and embedded social media posts or videos. We do not control their content, availability or privacy policies.
